Terms and Conditions

  1. Ray’s Place remains the property of Hannah Parratt and Christopher Parratt trading as a secure dog walking/exercise field in Surrey and both owners retain the right of entry at any time onto the field with or without workmen for any reason whether you have made a prior booking.
  2. Use of Ray’s Place is at your own risk – uneven ground, long grass etc.
  3. You agree that use of Ray’s Place at Fallow Farm (inclusive of the car park and drive) is at your own risk and agree not to hold Ray’s Place, its owners or staff responsible for any injury to you, your family/friends or your dog(s) arising from access Fallow Farm and your use of the field. The field is a large outdoor space and contains areas of uneven ground which could be concealed under long grass or other vegetation and has overhanging branches from trees which may fall.
  4. You agree to respect the facilities made available to every person who uses Ray’s Place.
  5. You will be sent a reminder of your booking 24 hours before with the access code.
  6. You do not disclose the code to the gate that is given at the time of booking to any other person other than those who will be using it at the time of the booking.
  7. You agree not to let anyone else onto the field during your booking other than any friends or family members you have brought with you to enjoy walking your dog(s).
  8. By bringing anyone else to the field, or sending somebody in place of you, you agree that you take full responsibility for their safety and for ensuring that they always abide by these terms and conditions whilst using the field.
  9. You agree to use Rays Place for its intended use as a dog exercise area, not for social gatherings.  
  10. Spot checks will be made to ensure that the correct number of dogs are using the secure field as per booking. Failure to pay for the required number of dogs using the field will result in the person booking the slot being blocked from making any further bookings.

You and your dogs

  1. Dogs must be kept on a lead until you are inside the Secure Dog Field and the gate has been secured.
  2. You are of course welcome to walk your dog(s) with family/friends, however group bookings that involve multiple dogs from different households will need to not exceed 6 dogs. If you choose to have more dogs join your booking, you must amend your booking to reflect the number of dogs coming to the Secure Field without exceeding the maximum of 6 dogs.
  3. You confirm that you carry third party insurance cover for any damage or injury caused by you or your dog(s) to the fencing or to persons (this is normally part of your pet insurance policy)
  4. It is your responsibility to pick up all your dog’s waste and dispose of it off sight. Dog poo bags will be provided.
  5. It is your responsibility to keep your dog(s) under control at all times and you shall not permit any of your dogs to act in any way that may result in an offence being committed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 (as amended).

Accessing the Field

  1. Ray’s Place can be accessed through the main gates into Fallow farm, between the fur trees on the left, there is an opening to the Ray’s Place car park.
  2. The gate to enter Ray’s Place car park is to remain closed at all times. This is for your security and the safety of you and your dog(s) as Fallow Farm driveway is in constant use of other vehicles.
  3. Please park sensibly and make sure your car is locked before entering the Secure Field, if you leave your car unsecure, Ray’s Place will not be responsible for any theft or damages.
  4. Please make sure your dog is kept on a lead until you are inside the Secure Field with the gate secure behind you.
  5. Please ensure that you leave the field promptly at the end of your allotted time (even if you entered the field after the commencement of your allotted time) and that the gate is left locked after you have vacated the car park before the next booking.
  6. You are welcome to bring your children to the field, but they must always be supervised, and you are responsible for making sure that they do not injure themselves or break any of these terms and conditions.

There will be access to water through a water tap in the paddock. Please do not leave the water running and leave the water bowl in an acceptable state for the next dog.

The Fence

  1. Although we have made every effort to secure the field and we will be inspecting and maintaining the fence regularly, holes or other damage to the fence may occur from time to time due to several reasons including digging by dogs or other animals, falling trees or branches, and general wear and tear. If you become aware of any issue with the state of the fence, please let us know immediately so that we can make other users aware and so that we can fix it as soon as possible. We cannot, however, take any responsibility for any dog escaping the field whether this is through a defect in the fence, and regardless of whether we have notified you in advance or not.
  2. If there is damage to the fence, please report it immediately via the website contact us form.

Please do not hang anything from the fence or clip dog leads to the fencing.

Bookings

  • Bookings cannot be re-scheduled and are non-refundable. All bookings must be paid for in advance. Use of Ray’s Placeis only possible after acceptance of our terms and conditions. Payment must be made at the time of booking your field visits via our online booking system.

Updates

  • We may need to vary these terms and conditions from time to time. When we do this, we will let you know via email/text.

XL Bully restrictions

If you will be bringing an XL Bully into the paddock the dog must:

  1. XL Bullies must only be exercised with dogs and people from the same household.
  2. As per Government rules, the dog must be neutered.
  3. The dog must be microchipped.
  4. Registered with the Index of Exempted Dog (IED) and a certificate is obtained and available in the event of any claim.
  5. Remain muzzled and on a lead until the dog is secured in the paddock ensuring no escape. And the dog must have a lead and muzzle reapplied and secured before the secure field is opened/exited.
  6. A copy of the Public Liability Insurance Certificate for the dog and a certificate is obtained and available in the event of any claim.
  7. The dog owner/handler does not leave the dog unattended or in the care of anyone else while using the secure field.
  8. No one is granted access to the field other than the dog owner/carer.
